В Омской области в 60-е годы прошлого века проблемы по обеспечению животных кормами обусловили широкомасштабную работу по укреплению материально-технической базы мелиоративного комплекса. За 20 лет (с 1970 по 1990 г.) площадь орошаемых земель увеличилась с 4 до 115 тыс. га. По данным ФГБУ «Управление «Омскмелиоводхоз», в Омской области по состоянию на 31 декабря 2019 г. числятся орошаемыми значительные площади пашни – 78 864 га, при этом фактически орошается не более 8 тыс. га. Почти 33 тыс. га из этой площади по разным причинам не подлежит восстановлению, а на площади более 34 тыс. га требуется капитальный ремонт. Восстановление мелиоративной отрасли происходит благодаря целевой подпрограмме «Развитие мелиорации земель сельскохозяйственного назначения». Это требует согласованной работы Министерства сельского хозяйства и продовольствия Омской области, сельхозтоваропроизводителей, ФГБУ «Управление «Омскмелиоводхоз» при научном обеспечении отрасли.
In the Omsk region in the 60s of the last century, the problems of providing animals with feeds led to large-scale work to strengthen the material and technical base of the reclamation complex. Almost 33 thousand hectares of this area cannot be restored for various reasons, and overhaul is required on an area of more than 34 thousand hectares. The reclamation industry is being restored thanks to the targeted subprogram «Development of Land Reclamation for Agricultural Land».
